Clashes in Al-Tayy neighborhood, Halko School

The Internal Security Forces arrested two members of the National Defense militia in Al-Tay neighborhood, amid continuing clashes with all severity between the Internal Security Forces and the "National Defense" militias, south of Qamishlo.

ANHA correspondent reported that clashes continued south of the city of Qamishlo in Al-Tayy neighborhood and on the outskirts of Halko School, south of the city, after the "National Defense" militias re-targeted the Internal Security Forces' points on the outskirts of the two neighborhoods.

ANHA correspondent confirmed that the Internal Security Forces are now advancing in Al-Tayy neighborhood, based on their last points of control in the neighborhood, in response to the attacks and the militias ’violation of the ceasefire truce reached by the Russian Military Police after their discussions with the Internal Security Forces and the National Defense militias.

Military sources confirmed to ANHA correspondent that the Internal Security Forces, during their advance in Al-Tayy neighborhood, arrested two militia members when they tried to hide in one of the basements.
