Afrin displaced: We are the rights holders; we stick to our resistance

Last Tuesday, Russian troops in Tel-Raffat district in al-Shahba canton and the village of Kashtar in Sherawa district in Afrin canton evacuated their military points, but returned after one day.

The displced of Afrin in the Tal Raffar district of al- Shahba canton have expressed their indignation at Russia's actions "that have become trading in the blood of the Syrian people to implement its interests in Syria."

Citizen Jamal Suleiman, from the Shara district, said that "the actions that Russia is doing by practicing of intimidating tactics are not new to us, but these practices will not weaken our resistance."

The citizen Zilan Jafar, from Khalil village belonging to Shia district, highlighted the utilitarian approach to Russian policies. "Despite the presence of Russian forces in al-Shahba canton and specifically in Tel Raffat, these forces do not take firm decision to prevent the massacres committed by Turkey against the people."

Zilan Jafar asserted that they continued to resist agreements and schemes on the region, as they were the right holders and the resistance up to the liberation of Afrin and all the occupied areas.

In his turn, Abdul Rahman Murad, resident from Janders, stressed that they do not place any hopes on Russian forces "because they are looking for their interests in the region and not what they claim to be protecting Syrian sovereignty."
