According to ANHA's correspondent in the area, the Russian forces returned to their positions a day after their evacuation.

Earlier this afternoon, the British capital London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that pro-Iranian forces had replaced the withdrawn Russian forces.

This is in the midst of the complete absence of any official statements by those concerned.
