4 deaths, 279 new cases of corona in N, E Syria

On Tuesday, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced that it had recorded four deaths and 279 new cases of Coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria.

The co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Dr. Joan Mustafa, explained that the deaths are of two women and two men from Qamishlo.

Mustafa confirmed that they had recorded 279 new cases of Coronavirus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria, which are 167 males and 112 females, and they are distributed as follows:

Al-Hasakah 34 cases

Qamishlo 87 cases

Derik 27 cases

Girkê Legê 1 case

Ad-Darbasiyah 13 cases

Kobane 4 cases

Al-Raqqa 17 cases

Manbij 2 cases

Deir Ezzor 57 cases

Tabqa 37 case

Mustafa added that they recorded six new recoveries.

It is noteworthy that the number of cases of Coronavirus in the regions of northern and eastern Syria reached 11,092 with the announcement of these new cases, including 400 deaths, and 1,340 recoveries.

On Monday, the Health Authority in northern and eastern Syria recorded the highest rate of infections since the third wave of the virus emerged in the region, as it recorded 304 new infections.
