HPG destroys Turkish occupation stronghold in Khakurk

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) Media Center issued a written statement on the operations of the Guerrilla Forces and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the HPG's areas.

The statement read:

"On March 15^th, at 12:20 p.m. in the Martyr Akhin Hill in Khakurk district, our forces carried out a successful military operation. Our forces' shells destroyed enemy strongholds, where one soldier was killed and several others were wounded.

On the same day, Turkish occupation aircrafts targeted the area and at 22:30 helicopters transported the wounded and killed from the battlefield.

Attacks on lawful defense zones

The Turkish occupation state carries out its air attacks on the People's Defense zones.

This is the most important information about the air attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation state.

On March 13^th, the aircraft bombed at 10:30 on the Jelok Kejek Square in Zab, and at 11:00 on Karkar Square.

On March 14^th, an area around the village of Kanisark in Garê was shelled between 10:30 and 12:00.

On March 14^th, the Martyr Restum Square in Zab was bombed by warplanes between 11:00 and 12:00 p.m.

On March 14^th, the Mam Reshuo Square in Avashin area was bombed at 14:20.

On March 14^th, Colemêrg Hills's Square was bombarded at 14:45.

During these air attacks, no damage inflicted to our forces.
