Under the slogan “Our Struggle to Ensure the Women’s Revolution”, the Kongra Star held three separate meetings in the city of Aleppo, with the participation of dozens of representatives of civil institutions.

The meetings began with a minute of silence, then the administrator at the Kongra Star Amina Khader spoke about March 8, when women express their freedom and struggle.

Amina pointed out that the capitalist countries seek to impose a policy of undermining the fundamental values ​​of the struggle on the 8th of March, but all the women are more insisting and knowledgeable than ever.

She added, "Women in northeast Syria have learned in the past ten years the meaning of women's liberation. A month ago, we saw the brutal assassination of comrades Saada and Hind in Al-Shaddadi, because they did not abandon their love for women's freedom. We will celebrate the 8th of March in the spirit of the two martyrs in NE Syria, where women's revolution. This year will be a year of struggle and women's freedom, and we will end the extermination of women by strengthening our struggle in all areas of life. "

The meetings ended with a presentation about March 8 and the role of women in the Rojava revolution in all fields.

In the same context, the KS decorated the streets of the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maqsoud (western and eastern), Ashrafieh and Maarouf, and hung 10 banners in the Kurdish, Arabic, Syriac and Armenian, reading: “With the resistance and struggle of women, the leader will be liberated.
