PYD: Conspiring forces fear from Ocalan ideology

On Sunday, the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a statement, which we received a copy of, confirming that the kidnapping plot “is still continuing and that it will not end until the leader Ocalan returns to the arms of his people to play his historical role in leading the peoples of the Middle East.”

In these days, the Kurdish people have the painful memory of the international conspiracy that targeted the future of the peoples of the Middle East and the existence of the Kurdish people, through the person of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who devoted all his life and physical and intellectual capabilities to create a Middle East viable for a free and decent life for all nationalities and affiliations in an atmosphere of peace and coexistence in the act of paradigm dependent on the nation's democratic philosophy.

The Middle East is of strategic importance to the forces of global hegemony, and due to the sociological and technological development at the global level, new means and tools were necessary to maintain their hegemony and the continuation of their interests in the region, as the ruling regimes no longer served the purpose in the face of the awakening of nations and new ideas, and they announced the "New Middle East" After the liberation of Kuwait and it began to put the necessary plans to achieve this, including removing the potential obstacles, and concluded that the Kurdish people in their size, resurgence and strategic leadership could be the biggest obstacle to passing those plans that aim to deepen the tendencies of ethnic and ideological affiliation, while the Kurdish freedom movement and around it society The Kurdish can be the engine and vanguard of the democratic path and the brotherhood of peoples, affiliations and coexistence, so the forces of hegemony decided to separate the head from the body in order to be able to cut the body and use the Kurdish as a tool for its purposes, as was the case over centuries ago, and so came the plot to kidnap the leader Abdullah Ocalan at the hands of the largest global powers as the first A step on this path, but that collided with the resistance of the Kurdish people and their leader and the Kurdish freedom movement, that resistance still continues to this day in various ways and means.

Today, on the twenty-second anniversary of the conspiracy, we see that the forces of hegemony have failed in the Kurdish side, as the head has not been separated from the body and the Kurdish people are still working as a vanguard of the path of democracy in the region and the world through its resistance and organizations, while the hegemonic powers have been able to fuel the conflict between affiliations as we see in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, North Africa and Asia, the hegemonic powers plunder resources on the one hand, and arms deals worth billions of dollars are concluded on the other hand, while the peoples of the region are exposed to the most brutal practices, as hundreds of thousands of people are killed and many times more wounded and disabled, millions of refugees, cities destroyed and demographic change.

We, in the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), share with our people their pain on the anniversary of February 15, the Black Day, and we realize the dimensions of this plot more than ever before, as we know that it is still continuing and that it will not end until the return of Leader Ocalan to his people to perform his historic role in Leading the peoples of the Middle East to peace, brotherhood and coexistence, and that is why we call on our people and all the forces that aspire to achieve these goals to rally around the leader and adhere to his ideas and philosophy, organize his ranks, and engage in the democratic struggle and legitimate defense accordingly, because it is the only way for peoples to get rid of the clutches of hegemonic forces and its machinations.
