A group of political parties and forces in northern and eastern Syria issued a written statement regarding the Turkish occupation army's attacks against southern Kurdistan.

The statement noted that the Turkish attacks have become troublesome to the world and the peoples of the region. Turkey is seeking to "eradicate the Kurdish people," as it recently led a displacement campaign to change the demographic in the Kurdish cities of Afrin and Serêkaniyê, and its affiliated factions confiscated properties of Kurdish civilians and settled IDPs from other.

The statement added, "Therefore, as Kurdish political forces in Syria, we have suffered, and our people have suffered the ravages of Turkish policies aimed at destabilizing our historical presence in northeast Syria by targeting the components of the" Autonomous Administration "project, which we share with our partners of various components, Arabs and Syriacs. We believe that the Turkish state seeks to thwart the Autonomous Administration project by occupying Kurdish cities and towns and in parallel with its efforts to occupy “Şengal” in Iraq and stir up sedition in Kirkuk and its sweep of the northern mountainous heights of the Kurdistan region to impose a suffocating cordon to fail of the Kurdish people, threatening the region’s security and stability, and occupying the border areas from it.

The statement called on "the Kurdish public opinion and forces to take the Turkish threats seriously, react to the pretexts and not to be drawn into the internal disputes that are fueled by the Turkish state apparatus between the Kurdish parties. We call on everyone to stand together and search for participants that embody the common destiny of all peoples that believes in democratic values. "

It also called on the international community to carry out its responsibilities towards the sovereignty and to demand Turkey to find fair solutions to various issues, foremost, the Kurdish one in Turkey and to stop the policy of exporting problems to neighboring countries.

In their statement, political parties and blocs called on "the United Nations and its specialized committees to monitor violations of international humanitarian law by Turkey in the occupied Kurdish cities in northeast Syria, documenting those violations, holding those them accountable, and returning the displaced to their areas of origin."

The political parties condemned the "Turkish attacks on Iraqi Kurdistan. We call on the Iraqi government to stand by the Kurdistan region and not allow the Turkish agenda to penetrate Iraq's sovereignty, borders and values."
