The meeting was held in the meeting room of the Deir Ezzor Military Council in Al-Kesra area in the western countryside, in the presence of administrators in the Martyrs’ Families Council, leaders of the Military Council and a number of martyrs’ families.

At the beginning of the meeting, and after holding a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs, the Commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council, Dijwar Abdullah, explained the developments taking place in the region, especially on the Syrian arena, and the rapid events it is witnessing.

The leader elaborated in his explanation of the political situation by clarifying the ambitions of the Turkish occupation and the Damascus government in the areas of northeastern Syria, and using a group of mercenaries to implement their agendas, citing the recent riots that sparked by the so-called "National Defense" militia affiliated with the Damascus government and the assassinations that targeted tribal and women's symbols in north and east Syria, which aim to strike the stability enjoyed by north and east Syria and to ignite discord among its components, especially between the Arab and Kurdish components.

Then, the council discussed the problems facing the families of the martyrs and the complaints they made, the most important of which was the issue of providing assistance to the families of the martyrs.

The Martyrs' Families Council explained that the distribution mechanism is based on severe poverty, as there are some families of martyrs that are classified under the poverty line, so there is no roof to shelter them or agricultural land to feed from, so the council gives priority to the poorest families, then the distribution is done gradually, and the distribution applies to in-kind assistance and real estate.
