​​​​​​​International conspiracy aimed to impede Kurdish issue solution

February 15^th marks the 22^nd anniversary of the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan at the hands of the Turkish state intelligence with international complicity, which led to the arrest of Ocalan in the Kenyan capital Nairobi in 1999.

In rejecting the conspiracy and denouncing it, events are being organized in the regions of north and east Syria condemning the international conspiracy, calling for the release of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

ALEPPO

In the same context, on Tuesday, the Kongra Star held a mass meeting in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo, in which dozens of neighborhood residents and representatives of civil institutions participated.

The meeting took place in the meeting hall located in the western section of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, which was decorated with pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence in tribute for the souls of the martyrs, then a member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic Union Party, Hediya Youssef, denounced at the outset of her speech the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan that led to his arrest.

She said, "They tried to target the Kurdish people and the democratic nation's project in the personality of the leader, but today all peoples of the world have launched a campaign to lift isolation on him."

Youssef added: "The countries that occupied Kurdistan wanted to complete this scheme to exterminate the Kurdish people, as the leader worked to save these peoples from oppression and tyrannical regimes, so these countries hatched a conspiracy against him."

She added, "The leader managed to organize a contemporary revolution with his ideas, and he also gathered the experiences of the leaders who carried out previous revolutions," noting that "the conspiracy is to hinder the solution of the Kurdish issue and deepen the contradictions in the Middle East."

Hediya Youssef emphasized that "the revolution whose vanguard is women and youth will not be broken, and the society that followed the leader's thought will not be removed by any state."

The meeting ended with a short film on the struggle of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, his thought and his philosophy that saved societies from oppression and slavery.

Regarding the Çil Axa (Jel Agha) District Council, today, a public meeting was held in the Cultural Center hall of the district, and dozens of people from the district attended, during which the Co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement, Gharib Hesso, spoke.

Hesso denounced the international conspiracy, and said: "The conspiracy that affected the leader Ocalan did not only target his person, but also targeted all peoples calling for freedom."

Hesso also noted that "the thought and philosophy of leader Abdullah Ocalan has spread widely in the world, and many of his analyses have been published in international offices, in addition to that, many international philosophers and intellectuals support his ideas."

Then, a short film was presented about the international conspiracy that targeted the leader Abdullah Ocalan on February 15, 1999.

GIRKÊ LEGÊ

In Girkê Legê  district of Qamishlo canton, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Union organized today an exhibition of pictures and books of the leader Abdullah Ocalan in the Martyr Xebat (Khabat) Dêrik Square in the district.

Furthermore, the exhibition is scheduled to last for three days.

Today, the Girê Spî District Council held a public meeting in Khirbet Hadla village of Ain Issa district, attended by dozens of residents of the village and the neighboring villages of al-Horan and al-Thamriah.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence to honor the martyrs, after which the Co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Council in Girê Spî district, Berivan Ismail, explained with a brief overview the leader Abdullah Ocalan's march, pointing out that "his establishment of the Liberation Movement came as a result of the persecution practiced on his people by the dictatorial authorities."

She indicated during her speech that the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan was to serve all the peoples of the region, without distinguishing between a Kurdish, Arab, Yazidi or Circassian.

In the same context, the Vice Presidency of Girê Spî District Council, Hezaa Mohamed, said that the arrest of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, was carried out in an international conspiracy by countries that feared his ideas.

He added, "The Turkish state believes that by arresting the leader Abdullah Ocalan, it has locked his mind, but it is wrong to do so because his companions were able to complete his career, and the best example of this is that the peoples of the region have developed and prospered because of his enlightened thought."

Maya Al-Ali, the Member of the Kongra Star in Girê Spî district, confirmed that the ideology of the leader Abdullah Ocalan urged women to emancipate and play their pioneering role in all political, military and service fields after they were marginalized by dictatorial regimes and male power.
