Deir Ezzor Council, International Coalition visit Hajin Hospital

A delegation from the International Coalition, accompanied by the Health Committee and members of the Eastern Deir Ezzor Countryside Council, was briefed on the rehabilitation work of Hajin General Hospital as they paid a visit to it.

During the inspection tour, the coalition delegation discussed with the Health Committee the nature of the work that is taking place in the hospital, and the efforts to revitalize the hospital again to serve the people of the region.

While the committee agreed with the coalition delegation that doctors dispatched from the coalition, doctors from the town of Hajin, and a medical team from Albu Hassan clinic would come to revitalize the hospital for a full day to be determined later, to provide health services to citizens.

On October 12, 2020, the Deir Ezzor Civil Council laid the foundation for starting work for the rehabilitation project of Hajin General Hospital in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, under the auspices of the Health Authority in northern and eastern Syria, as part of an event attended at the time by representatives of the International Coalition and the US State Department.
