An IDP from Gire Spi: we do not need aid but to regain occupied land

Sherifa Mohamed, an IPD from the Gire Spi Canton, called on the international organizations no to bargain the issue of IDPs, confirming that the demand is to exit Turkish Occupation Forces not getting aids .

In the aftermath of Turkish Invasion of the city of Gire Spi/Tal Abyad, in 2019, thousands of people of the city and its villages displaced from the brutal bombardment by the Turkish Occupation State and its mercenary groups on the city, where some IDPs of Gire Spi were forced to live in the camp in the village of Tall Saman, northern Raqqa, while others were displaced to Kobane, of whom Sherifa Mohamed, from the village of Ain al-Bat.

Sherifa, mother of 8 children( 5 boys and 3 girls) lives now with one of her relatives in a village in a small house ,ade up of one room for sleeping, cooking and showering

Sharifa says:'' I do not want anything from life but to return to my city that I left under bombardment by the Turkish Occupation, had it occupied our lands, we would have been living in peace now''.

She added :'' I prefer to live in a small house to life under occupation and mercenaries authority, I am say to the occupation and its mercenaries who occupied our homes you will be defeated and expelled disappointingly''.

At the end of her speech, Sherifa addressed all international bodies that deliver relief aids to the IDPs saying:'' do not bargain our case, after a year of occupation, we no longer want your aids, we want to return home''.
