Syrian Observatory: 14 Damascus government forces, ISIS mercenaries killed

Within the framework of the campaign launched by the Damascus government forces, with the support of Russian warplanes to fight ISIS mercenaries, the government forces began bombarding mercenaries' zones in the Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa triangle.

On Tuesday, the government forces began cutting off the Athria - Tabqa road, and violent clashes erupted between them and ISIS mercenaries, amid aerial bombardment of the clash areas, which resulted in killing 5 government elements and 9 ISIS mercenaries, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The death toll from March 24, 2019 to the present day has reached 1,089 from the Damascus government forces, including 2 Russians, in addition to the killing of 145 among the pro-Iranian groups, all of whom were killed during attacks and explosions by ISIS mercenaries in the Badia of Deir ez-Zor, al-Raqqa, Homs and As-Suwayda, while 610 ISIS mercenaries were killed during the same period.

In addition, the Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 4 civilians working in gas fields and 11 herders, in addition to a female citizen in attacks launched by ISIS mercenaries.
