QAMISHLO

On December 12th, the Kurdistan Democratic Party mobilized its forces in the Fish Khabur area adjacent to the Semalka crossing in Dêrik region, accompanied by heavy and medium weapons and military vehicles, and it also fortified and camouflaged their sites, and established new military points.

40 military points and 3 main centers

The number of military points of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) along the border strip of Rojava reached more than 40 points and three main centers, starting from the border triangle that connects Rojava, Bakur, Başûr Kurdistan and even Khank village with each other.

This step comes after the media escalation and smear campaigns carried out by the Democratic Party against the people of Rojava, the Autonomous Administration and the People and Women Protection Units.

According to a private source, the weapons brought in by the Kurdistan Democratic Party along the border strip are heavy weapons such as cannons, Dushkas, and medium weapons such as BKS machine guns.

The people of the region believe that the KDP seek to satisfy the occupying Turkish state, so it began to establish outposts, military sites and increase the Peshmerga forces at the Fish Khabur crossing adjacent to the Semalka crossing with its fortifications.

Our agency in the border triangle monitored the establishment of three outposts, which raises the question about the reasons for these preparations which are similar to preparing to start a war and tighten the noose on the people of Rojava.

The digging of trenches by the Kurdistan Democratic Party on Rojava borders coincides with the Turkish state digging trenches and building a concrete wall, extending for hundreds of kilometers between Rojava and Northern Kurdistan, starting from Kharab Rashka Sida village to al-Zuheiriya village in Ber Av region in Dêrik.
