In an article published today, Al-Arab newspaper said that the successive statements issued by the Minister of Defense in the National Accord Government, Salah al-Din al-Nimroush, show that he has become Ankara's arm in Libya, in light of the differences between Turkey and the Justice and Construction Party, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood organization in Libya.

According to the newspaper, Al-Nimroush has been tweeting since his access to office, far from the political settlement that has become adopted by most of the political parties in Tripoli, with the exception of those affiliated with Ankara, which views the political path as a danger threatening to end its influence in the country.

The newspaper linked this with what was talked about about the existence of differences in Tripoli between a movement trying to reach a settlement, in which Aguila Saleh Issa would head the new presidential council, while Fathi Bashagha, the Minister of Interior, would assume the post of prime minister, and another movement that rejected this formula and insisted on the final exclusion of the army from Settlement.

Several countries support this formula, including Egypt and France, the two most prominent opponents of Turkey, which view the "Aquila-Bashagha" proposal as a danger threatening to cancel the maritime border demarcation agreement that angered Paris and Athens.

Observers do not rule out that "Russia is also among the countries welcoming this formula, after its citizens imprisoned in Tripoli for more than a year and a half have been released, despite reports of Turkish mediation that succeeded the deal between Moscow and Tripoli."

And media reports spoke of “Turkish annoyance at the visits that Bashagha made to both Egypt and France, and the impact of this anger reached Tripoli, where reports are circulating about the governor of the Central Bank of Libya, al-Siddiq al-Kabir, refusing to liquidate funds for the Ministry of the Interior allocated for the acquisition of French helicopters, which caused the outbreak A crisis between the two parties ended with the banning of Bashagha from traveling.

These developments put pressure on Turkey, which is betting on its stay in Libya, either through a settlement according to its desire or through breaching the ceasefire agreement and igniting a new war.

According to the newspaper, "If Turkey is forced into war, Nimroush will have its arm on the ground, which is what it began preparing for by training members of the Ministry of Defense in exchange for what appears to be the marginalization of the Interior Ministry."

Observers agree that "Al-Nimroush, who was appointed at the end of last August during Bashagha's visit to Ankara, became Turkey's bet in place of the Minister of the Interior, who seems to have had a conflict of positions between him and Turkish officials during that visit."

According to the newspaper, "Al-Nimroush does not show any support for the 5 + 5 talks, and he was the first to penetrate their outcomes after refusing to stop military exercises with Turkey in addition to signing a new agreement with Doha."
