Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, has called on European countries to impose sanctions on Turkey, dubbing latest moves by Turkey as provocative to all member states of the European Countries.

On Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, called for imposing sanctions on Turkey, saying that Ankara paid no heed to warnings by the European Council in late October, regarding moves in eastern Mediterranean, according to the Kathimerini daily morning newspaper.

Dendias said : '' position taken by Turkey poses provocation to the European Union as a whole''.

Worth to note that foreign ministers of the EU member states would hold a meeting today to discuss reasons of imposing sanctions on Turkey relate to the gas dispute in the Mediterranean.
