Hewlêr-Bagdad agreement is new genocide: Yazidis

October 9th agreement on Şengal between Bagdad and Hewlêr angered Yazidi-religious minority worldwide, as they view it as recontroling the devastated region by ISIS following their abandonment by the two aforementioned parties in 2014. Aleppo's Yazidis denounced the agreement, considering it as a new genocide against the Yazidis, stressing that without Şengal effective involvement, it remains unacceptable, and does not serve the interests of the Yazidis Kurds.

Newroz Ado denounced the agreement and said: without taking the opinion of the Yazidi people into consideration, it is unacceptable, and said: “During the massacre by ISIS mercenaries, the Peshmerga forces abandoned it, but the Yazidi people resisted mercenaries, so the Yazidi people can represent Şengal's will.

Newroz also demanded a pure Kurdish-Kurdish agreement, stressing that the agreement remains unacceptable without the Yazidi people.

Roshin Musa indicated that history is repeating itself today, in 2014 the mercenaries committed a genocide against the Yazidi people in Şengal, the same happens today. Yazidis reject these policies on Şengal so that the children of the Yazidi community do not live other extermination campaigns.

In the conclusion of her speech, Roshin called on the people of Şengal to unite and protect their gains that have been achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs.

Regarding sending thousands of Iraqi soldiers to besiege Şengal, Suhaila Ibrahim said: “We do not accept these policies, as the Baghdad government is trying to eliminate the self-administration that was established by the Yazidi community after the genocide against the Yazidi people in 2014. "

As for Maqboula Nebo, she also denounced the agreement against Şengal, saying: “During the attacks of ISIS mercenaries, the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Regional Government did not show any reaction to those massacres that were committed against the members of the Yazidi community, especially women and children.
