"Al-Nasr al-Mubeen" forces in Şengal issued a statement regarding the air raid that targeted Şengal areas last night.

"One civilian lost, fighter wounded"

The statement referred to the airstrike that took place by drone aircraft, which resulted in "the loss of a citizen who was working to maintain a well of water to serve the people of the region, and one of our fighters was wounded."

This attack was carried out directly by the Turkish MIT, the Turkish state and the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and it is a continuation of the agreement concluded between the Democratic Party and the Turkish state in 9 October.

In the context of the statement, the forces called on the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to “cut off its links with the enemies of the people and to stop its plots and games.”

"20+ Yazidis martyred due to Democratic Party’s attacks"

The statement added: "During the past years, 13 of our fighters have been martyred due to the continuous attacks of the Democratic Party on Sharafaddin and Khansour, and the allies of the Democratic Party have launched dozens of air strikes on our areas, which resulted in the death of 10 of our people and fighters, and after the recent air strikes, and as a result of the investigations. The investigation confirmed that at least two attacks were carried out directly by the Democratic Party, the Turkish MIT and the Turkish state.

As for us, the attacks and practices of the Democratic Party did not drag us into war, because we never wanted to destabilize Şengal and provoke a new war in the region.

The statement added, "But this does not mean that we cannot go to war. Rather, everyone knows the extent of our readiness and determination to fight, and we have proven this in our war against ISIS, but we do not want to harm the Kurdish cause."

The statement warned the Democratic Party forces to respond in retorsion if they continued their attacks on Şengal.
