Kurdish intellectuals and politicians indicated that the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan aims to ignite the conflicts in Mid-east to reach the dead-end to the solution.

Turkish state imposes tight isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan by preventing his family and lawyer from visiting him, after his capture in 1999 in the Kenyan capital Nairobi and his imprisonment on the Turkish island of Imrali.

Popular reactions continue in denouncing the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan by Turkish state, Izzat Habash, a poet and member of the Kobani Intellectuals Union, says: “An intensive isolation on leader Ocalan had restricted the freedom and democracy of peoples."

Izzat Habash denounced the international silence towards the isolation imposed on Ocalan, saying, "I denounce the silence of international and human rights organizations and those who claim that they are demanding the rights of peoples towards this isolation, which is a restriction to the freedom of intellectuals and peoples yearning for freedom."

For his part, PH.D. Salih Haj Mahmoud, a member of the Kobani Intellectuals Union, said: "The isolation imposed on the leader is a mistake made by the Turkish state."

He pointed out that after the outbreak of Covid 19 epidemic, nothing was known about the health of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and he said: “The Turkish state must allow the leader's lawyers to see him in order to reassure him of his health and that he is still fine in light of the outbreak of Covid 19 in all over the world."

Abdul Qadir Muslim, an administrator in the Democratic Union Party Youth, said: “The Turkish state wanted in the person of the leader to undermine the will of the Kurdish people and end it, but it did not expect that the Kurdish people had followed the thought and philosophy of the leader and the approach of the resistance and organized themselves against its plots.”

Abdul Qadir Muslim explained that “the Turkish state’s conspiracies began with the person of the leader and are still continuing in various forms, such as its support for ISIS in the Battle of Kobani and its occupation of Afrin, Serêkaniyê and GIRÊ SPî, and the practice of the policy of political genocide that it is carrying out in northern Kurdistan against people who supported the Kobani resistance against ISIS terrorism This is what we define as restricting freedoms. "

On September 25, the Turkish occupation state began a campaign of arrests against Kurdish mayors and politicians on charges of their participation in the demonstrations that were organized between 5 and 9 October 2014 in support of the Kobani resistance.

Abd al-Qadir Muslim pointed out that the Turkish state knows that the solution to the problems of the Middle East lies in the leader's thought and the democratic nation’s project, and therefore it imposes strict isolation on him to reach dead end.
