​​​​​​​Armenia warns of extension of terrorism to Minsk Group region

In the statement that was cited by the ARMEN PRESS news agency, '' on November 1^st, during military operations, a second terrorist fighter on the side if the Azeri Army that is  engaged in hostilities against Karabakh, was captured by the Military Units of the Karabkh Army, who presented himself as Yusuf Ala'a Al-Hajji, from the village of Ziyadiah in the region of Jisr Al-Shughur in the Syrian governorate of Idlib''. 

The statement added that '' another terrorist fighter was captured by the Defense Army of Karabakh, lately on October 30^th, who introduced himself as Mihrab Mohamed Al-Shakhir, from the Syrian city of Hama''. 

According to the statement, the Armenian side talked, time and again, that Turkey recruits foreign mercenaries from different conflict areas in the Middle East, especially from Libya and the areas it occupies in Syria, then it transfers and deploys them in the region. 

The statement made clear that '' with the aim to commit atrocities against the people in Karabakh, the aforementioned reality was not confirmed only by the intelligence apparatuses headed by the Minsk Group of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, plus a number of our partners and the international community only, but also by testimonies of the terrorists''.    

The mercenaries in question provided in their testimonies detailed information on their recruitment and the monthly salaries they receive in exchange for their fighting the ''infidels'', and the bonuses they got for their decapitations of the ''infidels'', and on their ''well devised terrorist'' plots, according to the statement.

The statement reported that '' transferring jihadists to the conflict zone of Karabakh reveals intentions of the Turkish -Azeri commands to incite religious seditions''. 

The statement warned that ''there is a new phenomenon to extend terrorism through transferring terrorist fighters and jihadists from the Middle East to the region of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, which is a serious threat to both regional and international security and stability''.  

At the end of it's statement, the Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed that '' Armenia would proceed to take firm steps in the war against international terror, and cooperate with the concerned partners on the issue''.

Since September 27^th, Karabakh is undergoing a struggle between Azerbaijan and Armenia amid Turkish endeavors to ignite war by sending hundreds of mercenaries to fight on the side of  Azerbaijan. 

Three Russian –U.S. – French brokered ceasefire agreements have failed between Baku and Yerevan, and days ago, the two sides failed to reach a new truce after talks in the Swiss city of Geneva.
