Turkish government's prosecutor demands life sentence for Çîçek Kobane

The Prosecutor General of the Turkish fascist authorities demanded the Turkish court a life sentence for the prisoner "Çîçek Kobane," who was kidnapped by Turkish mercenaries in Ain Issa countryside and handed over to the Turkish occupation last year.

On October 21, 2019, Dozgin Temo (Çîçek Kobane) was captured after she was wounded by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army in Musherfeh village of Ain Issa district in north and east Syria during the Turkish invasion of the region. In addition, she was handed over by the mercenaries to the Turkish occupation.

The first session of Çîçek Kobane's trial was held at the Fifth Criminal Court in Raha city in North Kurdistan in the presence of Çîçek Kobane.

During her statement via a translator, Çîçek Kobane said that she voluntarily joined the most organized force in north and east Syria, and that she did not use weapons, but rather participated in humanitarian aid activities.

During the third session of her trial, the Public Prosecutor of the AKP and MHP authorities demanded the Supreme Criminal Court that Çîçek be sentenced to life imprisonment, and the court accepted the request, while Çîçek Kobane's lawyers appealed the request, and demanded the resumption of the trial. Accordingly, the trial was postponed until next November 24^th.
