Al-Raqqa people demonstrate to commemorate Havrin Khalaf’s 1st martyrdom anniversary

The Future Syria Party organized a demonstration, in which hundreds of people from the city of Raqqa and its countryside, members of local councils, administrators and members of the Women’s Administration in Raqqa, members of the Civil Council of Raqqa, as well as sheikhs and tribal leaders in Raqqa.

Demonstrators flocked to the firefighter's yard in the middle of Raqqa, carrying pictures of the martyr Hevrin Khalaf and the martyr Farhad Ramadan, and the flags of the Future Syria Party, in addition to the banners reading "No to the Turkish occupation in northern and eastern Syria", we defeat the occupation ... and protect the revolution, with the free will of women we will defeat the occupation."

The demonstrators set off in front of the firefighter's yard, and roamed the main streets in the city, chanting slogans that salute the resistance of the free woman and salute the struggle of the martyr Havrin Khalaf, and their throats cracked with “with blood and soul, we sacrifice for you, and we are all on the path of the martyr Havrin Khalaf.

as the demonstrators arrived to the park of the martyr Havrin Khalaf, which was opened two days ago in the center of the city, they stood for a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs, then the member of the Future Syria Party, Reem Al-Mousa, delivered a statement on behalf of the Raqqa branch of the Future Syria Party, which included at its beginning:

"It was a sad and painful day for all of Syria, when the Secretary General of the Future Syria Party was assassinated in an ambush planned by the Turkish fascist regime and carried out by the extremist fundamentalist groups operating under the auspices of the Turkish regime."

The statement added, "We, the people of al-Raqqa, and the masses of the Future Syria Party, condemn this disgraceful act, which expresses the deep-rooted criminal spirit of everyone who contributed and planned this premeditated crime, which is classified as a war crime against humanity."

The statement also condemned the positions of the humanitarian and human rights organizations regarding the case of Havrin Khalaf, which he described as "shameful," calling for the perpetrators to be brought to international courts to deter anyone who pleads with himself to commit such crimes and atrocities.

The statement pledged, "We pledge our martyr to complete her mission to achieve the building of a multi-component Syria, beliefs and ideas, and to establish the spirit of democracy and decentralization."

The demonstration ended with slogans condemning the practices of the Turkish occupation, and saluting the resistance of dignity and the struggle of the martyr Havrin Khalaf.
