Gaweriyah: Sole way to solve Syrian crisis is Syrian internal dialogue

The efforts of the Syrian government to ignite sedition in the regions of NE Syria continue so it can put an end to the democratic nation’s project that was established thanks to the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs , Syrian officials statements accuse the Autonomous Administration of seeking secession, forgetting that mercenaries ruled these areas for more than 10 years until taking advantage of the government indifference towards them till the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated them and established an emulated project in them.

 Vice-Presidency of the Executive Council in the AANES, Gaweriyah rejected in an interview with Hawar News Agency, these accusations, noting that the government statements stems from that government’s intransigence and its insistence on the central mentality in the administration.

 "Those who monitor the achievements of the AANES institutions must speak truthfully and responsibly, not constantly attack them,", stressing that the Autonomous Administration takes from the brotherhood of peoples a basic principle for managing regions and rejects the centralization in ruling. She added.

She held the government responsible for the economic, security and military deterioration, in addition to the great external interference that exhausted the Syrians, not to mention the displacement and demographic change that many regions have been subjected to.

"the Russian role was not at the desired level. The Russian Federation intervened militarily in order to preserve the ruling regime in Syria, regardless of the actions of that authority. We are aware of the mutual interests between both countries, but Russia has interests with the people first."  It has to find a solution for the Syrian crisis, which has lasted for years. She noted.

She believed that the only solution to the Syrian crisis is in the internal dialogue among Syrians. This is what the Autonomous Administration and the Syrian Democratic Council are working on, and the AANES vision may conflict with the interests of some countries.

She called on both Russia and the other active parties in solving the Syrian crisis, the necessity of searching for a real political solution, away from sharing of interests, the price of which will be paid by the people of Syria."
