SWC appeals to stop Syrian Holocaust

The Syrian Women's Council held political tyranny and international interference in Syrian affairs responsible for the catastrophic deterioration in the Syrian situation, the recent fires that engulfed it, and the failure of the Syrian state. It called on the Syrians to converge on national principles in order to protect it and secure peace, security and freedom.

This came through a statement issued by the Syrian Women's Council, against the background of the recent catastrophic fires that swept through the coastal Syrian regions and left many losses at all levels, and the council said in its statement:

After ten lean years of continuous violations and massacres against the Syrian human being, which has not absolved anyone from tampering with his fate and contamination with his blood, and after losing more than a million martyrs, displacing half of the Syrian people, the destroying seventy percent of the face of Syria and the inclusiveness of extreme poverty more than 80% of The Syrian people. Today, Syrians are facing another great event that destroys vast areas of Syrian forests and olive fields in order to achieve the goal of burning the country and achieve the interests of countries that have taken advantage of the conditions of war to invade the Syrians' territories, livelihoods and their future, taking advantage of the absence of any direction to protect the interests of the Syrians by any party.

The absence of sense of citizenship, a lack of responsibility towards the Syrian public ownership, towards the life of the Syrians, the value of the citizen, and the generalization of hate speech and incitement among Syrians through sectarianism and racism, has made Syria a human being, a land and an environment that is a straw in the wind, and made of its people followers, militias and mercenaries that countries use to achieve their ambitions inside and outside the country, and make From a morsel of bread, and from car fuel, a humiliation in a country that is one of the regions richest in agricultural lands and natural resources.

As a result of this catastrophic deterioration in the Syrian situation, we bear responsibility for this devastation and the failure of the Syrian state at all levels to political tyranny and international interference in the Syrian affairs. We call on all Syrians to initiate and converge around national principles and our Syria in order to work together to protect our homeland and move it towards peace, security and freedom.
