Residents of Tal Hamis, Tal Barak, Tal KoÇber and Çil Agha sub-districts rose up on the first anniversary of the Turkish aggression against Girê Spî / Tal Abyad and Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain on October 9, 2019. They condemned the international conspiracy which turned its 23rd year and stressed on not yielding to the enemy.

Tal Hamis

People of Tal Hamis district commemorated the Turkish aggression against Girê Spî / Abyad and Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain. They promised to make October 10 an international day for the freedom of leader Ocalan.

They rejected the Turkish invasion of northeast Syria, such as "Tal Abyad, Ras al-Ain and Afrin", and its massacres and violations against civilians, in addition to the demographic change.

The participants carried banners reading, "SDF represent our will," "We condemn the October 9 international plot," "Let us make October 10 an international day for Ocalan's freedom," "Let us defeat the occupation and protect our revolution", and "No to the new Ottoman occupation of Northern Iraq, Libya and Syria. "The marchers also raised pictures of Ocalan, the banners of the Future Syria Party, the families of the martyrs, and the Democratic Union Party (PYD).

Member of the Kongra Star Nahia Hussein conference condemned the Turkish occupation and said: “We must not abandon our people in Ras al-Ain, Tal Abyad and Afrin, and we will not yield to the fascist conspiratorial enemy."

Salih al-Khalaf, the administrative official in PYD confirmed that today is the International Day for the freedom of Ocalan. On this day, the Turkish occupation army occupied Ras al-Ain and Tal Abyad.” External and internal agendas try to create strife. He stressed the need to liberate the occupied cities.

Tal Birak

Hundreds of people from the district denounced the international conspiracy against Ocalan, the Turkish attacks on the regions of northeast of Syria, and the Turkish aggression against Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî and Afrin.

Member of the Democratic Union Party, Muhammad al-Turki, stressed the need to unify the components and support the military forces to deter the Turkish occupation and liberate the occupied areas.

Member of the Kongra Star Hanan Suleiman noted: "Despite the passage of 22 years on the international conspiracy against the leader Ocalan, it is still continuing in another way through tightening isolation, and targeting the local administration in the regions of northeast Syria, derived from Ocalan's thought and his project for the democratic nation."

Suleiman explained: "No force in the world can separate between philosophy of freedom that leader Ocalan embodied and people who continue its revolution following the thought of the resistance."

Tal Kocber

In the Tel Kocber district, hundreds of people marched to denounce the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the Turkish occupation practices against the regions of northeast Syria. They carried pictures of Ocalan, in addition to banners read "We condemn the October 9 international plot." and “Let us make October 9 the International Leader's Liberation Day.”

The administrator of Kongra Star Raghda Al-Shibli said: “With the thought and philosophy of Leader Ocalan, we are moving towards consolidating democracy, justice and brotherhood.

Al-Shibli stated that the revolution in northeast Syria, which adopted the concept of a democratic nation, turned into a revolution of peoples aimed at obtaining their legitimate rights, and said: "With our cohesion and solidarity, our revolution defeated the dark forces."

She noted that the international conspiracy has turned its 23rd year, and said: “It continues by bombing the regions of NE Syria, so we say we will escalate the pace of our struggle and our resistance until the liberation of Leader Ocalan that represents free will. The return of the occupied cities. We will strive to thwart all the imperialist Turkish special wars on our homeland and people. "

Çil Agha

In the same context, hundreds of resident of the districts gathered in front of the martyr Masum in the east of the district, chanting slogans that saluted the leader Abdullah Ocalan and called for his liberation.

Member of the Democratic Union Party, Dilberin Taj al-Din, spoke on behalf of the Kongra Star, denouncing the international conspiracy against Ocalan."

The words indicated that the international conspiracy targeted the thought of the leader Ocalan and not his personality, because he was not aiming to highlight his personality, but to spread his idea of freedom and living in dignity and democracy.

The words clarified that despite the leader Ocalan imprisonment, he is the only key to resolving crises in the Middle East, so the isolation was tightened against him.
