The Armenian Ministry of Defense in the disputed Nagorno Karabakh region announced that 26 other people were killed among its forces on Friday.

Thus, the death toll reaches to 376 since the outbreak of clashes with Azerbaijani forces on September 27, as the intensity of the fighting escalated to its worst levels since the 1990s, when about 30,000 people were killed as a result of the fighting.

Armenia's announcement of the killing of soldiers comes hours before the expected meeting between the two sides in Moscow, as the Kremlin announced, quoting Russian President Vladimir Putin, as saying that the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia had received an invitation to participate in talks.

The Kremlin added that after a series of telephone calls between the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the Russian President calls for a halt to military actions in the ongoing conflict in Nagorny Karabakh.
