The Turkish authorities are waging a political campaign of extermination against HDP parliamentarians, politicians, activists and women's organizations, with the aim of eliminating the Kurdish will and implementing the scheme, which it failed to implement within Rojava.

In response to the arrests carried out by the Turkish authorities against politicians, a number of politicians noted that the Turkish authorities have been conducting political genocide for years and denying the Kurdish presence in Bakur Kurdistan.

The co-chair of the Democratic Union Party office in Darbasiyah district, Suleiman Khalil, told ANHA, "The Turkish authorities practice a systematic campaign to arrest politicians who demand their rights and right to defend their cause, and whoever contributed to providing support and assistance to Kobani, the city whose children fought and resisted ISIS loyal to Turkey."

Khalil noted that Turkey's goal is to continue the genocide and demographic change, and said, "We have seen this in the areas occupied by Turkey in northern and eastern Syria."

Khalil stressed that the politicians in northern and eastern Syria reject Turkey's actions and practices against politicians and strugglers in northern Kurdistan, and he continued, "The history of the Turkish state overwhelms with practices against humanity, and thus acts are in violation of all state laws."

Suleiman Khalil called on all human rights and legal institutions to fulfill their responsibilities regarding Turkey's genocide and demographic change.

For his part, Hussein Al-Ali, a member of the political bureau of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, said: "The Turkish state has violated all international laws and norms. Today it is carrying out political extermination against politicians in Turkey and anyone who rejects the policy of occupied Turkey."

Al-Ali added: "A politician and a journalist who has acted with conscience will not accept Turkey's policy against oppressed peoples, and because the Turkish occupation state aims to occupy, destroy and kill, it arrests everyone who rejects its policy, there are hundreds of politicians and journalists detained in the prisons of the Turkish state."

At the end of his speech, Al-Ali stated that the Turkish occupation is implementing its practices before the eyes of organizations that call themselves "humanitarian organizations", calling on them to hold Turkey accountable and stop its violations.
