On Tuesday morning, the Turkish police raided the office of Mesopotamia Agency and the homes of journalists, including the agency's correspondents, in the city of Van Bakur, Kurdistan, "north Kurdistan."

During the raids, the Turkish police arrested two journalists, Adnan Bîlen and Cemîl Ûgûr, JIN News reporter Şehrîban Abî and journalist Nazan Sala, and confiscated the journalists' cameras and technical equipment during house searches.

The Turkish police are still carrying out inspections at the Mazobotamia agency office, and they do not allow agency workers to enter the building.
