16 Palestinians killed, dozens injured in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza
Reports indicate that 16 Palestinians, including children, were killed and dozens injured in Israeli airstrikes on various areas across the Gaza Strip.
The Civil Defense in Gaza stated that 16 people were killed and dozens injured as a result of Israeli air raids launched in multiple areas of the Gaza Strip since midnight.
According to the Palestinian News Agency, 10 Palestinians were killed and others wounded in more than five drone strikes carried out by Israeli aircraft targeting the entrance of Deir al-Balah city in central Gaza. Those attempting to rescue the wounded were also targeted.
Three Palestinians, including a young girl, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on an apartment near Abdel Aal junction on Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City.
An Israeli strike on a house in the western camp area of Khan Younis city killed two children and seriously injured their father.
The total number of people killed in Gaza since the beginning of the war has reached 53,762, according to the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health in the Strip.
