​​​​​​​Muslim on Peace Day: Turkey attacks and occupies countries under peace slogans

In conjunction with the advent of the World Peace Day on September 1, member of diplomatic relations in the Democratic Union Party, Saleh Muslim, spoke to Hawar News.

Muslim said: "The Turkish occupation state has never worked to bring about peace, but it continues wars in various forms to avoid global reactions towards its strike at peace."

They did nothing to protect the world.

It is noteworthy that the World Peace Day was declared after the Second World War, which claimed the lives of millions of people and destroyed many countries. On this subject, Salih Muslim said: “This day has been announced, but the international powers have done nothing to protect the world. Since the declaration of the International Day of Peace, wars in the world have not stopped. This day has turned into a day of peace between nations, but it has not turned into a day for achieving peace between nations and countries. It would have been more appropriate if this day were based on the principles of justice, freedom, equality and realization of truth ".

Muslim stated: “The Kurds are most affected by wars.” He continued, “In our region, all kinds of wars have never stopped. The Turkish occupation state has never recognized World Day of Peace; occupation of Cyprus, South Kurdistan, the wars against Rojava of Kurdistan, inside Turkey, and the destruction of all these cities are evidence that Turkey has never recognized and never respected world peace.

The Turkish state has turned the Middle East into a hotbed of war.

The Turkish state, which brags about its pursuit of peace, created ISIS, and is still attacking Kurdistan and many neighboring countries. This shows contradiction between the claims of the Turkish state and its moves, Muslim said: “ISIS was established by the Turkish state in order to be able to fight its wars without being subjected to international accountability. No one can hold accountable ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusrah, and the rest of the mercenaries sent by Turkey to northern and eastern Syria. Its mercenaries are waging a relentless war.

Muslim added, "The Turkish state has never worked for peace; it creates all the conflicts in the Middle East, such as Somalia, Azerbaijan and Kurdistan. The Turkish state must have a hand in it and turned the region into a war spot. International Peace Day exists as a symbolic day. No principles have been set for it. If you want to prevent war, there must be international charters and principles to prevent wars, but the Turkish state has not acted on this basis so far.

On the efforts to divide the Middle East, Muslim said: “All countries see wars and crimes by the Turkish state, but they stand by it and participate in them. When European countries show their support for the Kurdish people, the Turkish state threatens Europe with the refugee card and ISIS, and so on. They keep silent about what the Kurdish people are exposed to, "

"Occupying nations in the name of peace and striving to deceive world public opinion."

The Turkish state gives names of peace to the occupation operations. Muslim described this matter as misleading and the great deception, and said: “When it occupied Afrin, it called its operation “ Olive Branch ”, considering the olive is the symbol of peace, and upon the secret occupation of Serêkaniyê, it called its occupation attacks“ Peace Spring "and it occupied Cyprus under the " Peace Movement", meaning that there is a state that occupies countries in the name of peace, and deceives the world, and the world did not understand the Ottoman designs and games. Though the Turkish state tries to appear in a decent appearance in front of the world, but it is committing all forms of crimes at home. The world must not be deceived, and realize the truth of the Turkish state’s goals. Whenever the Turkish state utters a good word, we must know that there is a conspiracy behind that word, that it is committing major crimes in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi, and working to change the demographic of them. It commits crimes against women, children and families, so the world must see the reality of the Turkish state.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the one who will bring peace.

Muslim said that the leader Abdullah Ocalan is the one who is most concerned and committed to peace in the world: “Those who really want to achieve peace in the Middle East should sit down with him and strive for the leader Ocalan to be among his people, the whole world knows this fact. The Turkish state also knows it. Therefore, they worked to imprison the leader Abdullah Ocalan, in clear violation of international laws. First of all, they must look at the ideas and opinions of the leader Abdullah Ocalan. He is the one who will bring peace ",

"As long as there is injustice and persecution, we cannot talk about peace."

Muslim touched on the report of the European Committee against Torture on the status of Ocalan, and said: “The mission of the Committee against Torture is to change the conditions of detention, to stop and prevent torture, but instead they go to Imrali and write their report and say this is what happened, the mission of the Committee against Torture in the first place. It is stopping those violations. This position is the result of international interests, because their principles are not making peace. The isolation imposed on the leader is a historical stain on the forehead of the world. Those who plunder and destroy homelands and sell weapons do not want to achieve peace, because war is the source of their wealth. Those who see interests in wars that do not want them to stop or be limited and prevented, as long as there is injustice and persecution, it is not possible to talk about world peace. "
