The Israeli army spokesman said that helicopter gunships raided the party's reconnaissance sites on the border.

He also added that he considers the Lebanese government responsible for what is happening out of its territory.

A month ago, Israel confirmed that Hezbollah is "playing with fire," stressing that the Lebanese government is responsible for any violations.

Our correspondent in Lebanon reported yesterday midnight that the Lebanese border witnessed an Israeli alert after a suspected infiltration operation, and the Israeli army fired flare bombs upon hearing gunfire.

In a statement regarding the incident on the border with Lebanon, the Israeli army said that the security incident in the north in particular began with firing at an army position near the border, and no one was injured. After that, the army fired light bombs in al-Manara area on the Lebanese border and closed the roads. It also instructed the residents in several areas close to the border to stay at home."
