Civilians' live west of Kobani are in danger due to Turkish occupation shelling

In a scenario that has become a frequent occurrence, the Turkish occupation mercenaries, who are on the west bank of the Euphrates River, are exposed to shelling, targeting the inhabited village.

The last bombing attack on the village was on Friday, August 14th, when 7 mortar shells fell indiscriminately on the village, and fortunately for the residents, the shells did not cause any damage.

The bombing operations on this village on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River did not stop for years, as ISIS used to bomb the area during its occupation, and now the mercenary groups of the Turkish occupation army continue to follow the path of ISIS and bomb the safe village from the vicinity of the city of Jarablus, which Turkey occupied on August 16 / August 2016.

Kawthar Ahmed Mamo, a village woman, says, "For 7 years, we were like this. Three members of one family already lost their lives as a result of the shells that fell on us."

She added, "Last Friday, I was in the house of one of my relatives. Suddenly, a shell fell next to the house. We do not know what they want from this bombing. We are on the land of our ancestors and we have not attacked anyone."

At the end of her speech, Kawthar stressed the need for "the Russians and the Americans" to put an end to these violations, stressing that these two countries "have not done what they are required to do so far."

Ahmed Alaa al-Din, a resident of the village, says that "the mercenaries have been bombing the villagers for 7 years, indiscriminately, with the aim of terrorizing the people."

He added, "We have not seen any international body that has discussed this matter. They are bombing us since ISIS was in control of Jarablus. Someone should come and see what is happening, and this matter must be put to an end."

He explained, "There are no military points in the village. The international bodies concerned with protecting the security of the area must intervene and find a solution to this farce."

In the town of al-Shuyoukh, near the village, there are points of the Syrian government army, which entered the border area after the Syrian forces announced their withdrawal, in implementation of the provisions of the Sochi Agreement between the Russian Presidents Vladimir Putin and the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the time, the agreement stipulated the cessation of all hostilities that began after the Turkish attack on the regions of Girê Sp / Tal Abyad and Serêkaniyê, but the Turkish side did not abide by this clause of the agreement until this moment, as it continues to bomb western Kobani and the vicinity of Ain Issa, Tal Tamr, West Girê Sp and Rif Sri Kane.

A US-Turkish agreement sponsored by US Vice President Mike Pence stipulated a ceasefire in the region, in mid-October of last year, but with the continuation of the Turkish violations of the two agreements, neither Russia nor America's guarantors of the two agreements issued any position or move that compels them to adhere to, and put an end to its destabilizing moves to security and stability in the region.
