Wardah: Occupation intensified its shelling, guarantors' forces still silent

The countryside of Tal Tamr and Zarkan in al-Hasakah canton is witnessing almost daily bombardment and more than a month ago by the Turkish occupation army and the mercenaries of what they call "the Syrian National Army."

The bombing carried out by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries is considered a violation of the agreements concluded between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Russian forces and the Turkish occupation army, which stipulated a ceasefire and a halt to attacks by the Turkish occupation army on the northern and eastern regions of Syria after the occupation of the cities of Serêkaniyê and Tel-Abyed late last year.

In order to highlight on the excesses of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the region, Hawar news agency ANHA conducted a meeting with the spokesperson of the Assyrian Khabour Guard forces, Nabil Warda.

Turkish occupation does not abide by the agreements before the eyes of the guarantor forces

Nabil Warda indicated at the beginning of his speech that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries target the villages of the two districts of Tal Tamr and Zarkan almost daily and for more than a month, in violation of the ceasefire agreements.

He explained that despite the agreement concluded on October 22 of last year, the Turkish occupation forces do not abide by these agreements and are still bombing the area.

He added, "The Russian forces are the guarantors of the cease-fire in the region, and despite their presence in the Tel Tamr district, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are bombing the populated villages intensively and still remains silent."

Use different weapons to bomb the inhabited villages

The Turkish occupation and the Syrian National Army mercenaries commit grave violations against civilians in the villages under their control, in addition to the villages on the front lines, by destroying homes, burning them and stealing their properties, in order to force them to leave homes to implement the demographic change scheme in the occupied area.

Nabil Warda notes that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and to implement their plan are bombing populated villages with various types of weapons, including heavy artillery and mortars, in addition to the use of medium weapons and machine guns.

Committed to agreements and defense is a legitimate right

Wardah said in the context of his speech, that they are committed to the agreements stipulating the cease-fire, "but in the event of increased bombing in the area, we will respond to the source of the fire."
