International community should deter Turkey

The Democratic Union Party and the Youth Movement in Lebanon have made clear that Turkey is practicing the process of cultural and ethnic cleansing against the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan, the massacres committed by them are contrary to all international values and covenants, and the international community must deter Turkey.

The Revolutionary Youth Movement in Lebanon issued a statement to the public opinion condemning the Turkish attacks on Kurdistan, and it included:

"On behalf of the Revolutionary Youth Movement in Lebanon, we condemn and denounce all Turkish attacks carried out by the fascist Turkish state with Iranian artillery on Şengal, Mexmûr, and Şêladizê in which five young people were martyred, and this confirms to the whole world the hostility against our Kurdish people wherever they are. We, the Youth Movement in Lebanon, call on all young people in the four parts of Kurdistan to reinforce unification in our ranks, and to stand against the occupier together.

We commemorate all our martyrs who sacrificed their lives, and we renew the covenant of loyalty to this struggle. It must be known that we, the young Kurds everywhere in the world, will continue to escalate the struggle on the path of the martyrs until the attacks of all enemies and special war attacks are defeated, will not be satisfied with treason and occupation and all the special difficulties and obstacles that hinder the national unity, and we pledge to achieve the only goal of our martyrs which is free Kurdistan and achieve the democratic unity in the Middle East.

We appeal to all young men, men, and women to strengthen their organization, escalate the organizational struggle, and crown it for victory. The motto of every Kurdish youth must be that freedom is achieved through organization.

In the same context, the members of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) issued a statement clarifying that the Turkish occupation state has been waging its attacks since the beginning of June on Mexmûr camp (Restum Judy camp), Şengal district of the Şêladizê region and the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan.

The statement pointed out that the National Movement and the Justice and Development Party had caused a coup inside the Turkish Parliament against the Democratic Peoples' Party, and worked to isolate the democratically elected mayors in most of Bakur Kurdistan regions.

The statement indicated that Turkey is practicing the process of cultural and ethnic cleansing of the Kurdish people in its four parts, as it launches attacks on Rojava and Başûr Kurdistan regions, arrests politicians and militants in Bakur Kurdistan, and commit massacres on a daily basis against the Kurdish people, and these massacres are against all international values and covenants.

It made clear that all international humanitarian and human rights charters affirm that killing civilians is a crime against humanity.
