​​​​​​​Al-Abed: Turkey exploits Caesar's law to implement its policy in occupied areas 

The talk of the co-chair of Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed canton Hamid al-Abed came to comment on the demonstrations that have been launched in the occupied canton by the residents yesterday, rejecting the Turkey 's policy and its mercenaries (dealing in Turkish lira) and poor living conditions.

Al-Abed praised the uprising by the people of the occupied canton in the face of Turkish policy, which aimed to starve the people and the last of its chapters was to raise the price of bread and link its price to the Turkish lira.

Hamid Al-Abed explained that "these demonstrations are not a result of the moment this decision was taken, but rather are the result of the accumulation of pressures and practices by Turkey and its mercenaries in that region, where its residents have been fed up from its atrocities such as arbitrary arrests, looting of property, and poor living conditions."

He added, "Our people in all the occupied areas are aware of the policy of the Turkish occupation and the aim of pumping the Turkish currency into their areas as a step that will be followed by steps aimed at annexing these areas and separating them from the homeland and the original Syrian identity."

At the end of his speech, the co-chair of Girê Spî / Tel-Abyed canton, Hamid al-Abed called on the people of the occupied areas not to give in and tolerate the policy of the occupier and cling to their identity and culture, which Erdogan and his Ottoman ancestors had always worked to obliterate in the areas they occupied.
