19 members of Russian-backed faction killed, wounded in Daraa

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 20 members of the Russian-backed Fifth Legion in Daraa were killed and wounded as a result of targeting a bus carrying them with an explosive device.

The Syrian Observatory said that 3 members of the Fifth Legion were killed and more than 16 others were wounded as a result of targeting a bus that was carrying them with an explosive device, while they were passing in the town of Kahil, east of Daraa, and the number of the killed is expected to rise due to the presence of some dangerous cases, in addition to information about other killed.

It is reported that the Fifth Legion includes former fighters in the mercenary groups who carried out what were called "settlements and reconciliations."

Reports stated  that there is a conflict between Russia and Iran in southern Syria, where Russia supports the forces of the so-called Fifth Corps, while Iran supports other forces.
