Sheikh Al-Shami: Kurdish-Arab relations model for common relationship

In an interview with Hawar, al-Shami enumerated the relationship between the Kurds and the Arabs "the invincible shield in the face of strife and the differences through which the enemy seeks to weaken the nation."

Al-Shami drew attention to the historic depth Kurdish-Arab relations, saying, " Kurdish-Arab relations have countless examples previously, they are a model of the common relationship," adding, "We note the family bond and social solidarity between Kurds and Arabs."
Al-Shami recalled the Islamic principles that support coexistence between the various components “the principles of brotherhood and coexistence are written down by moderate Islamic thought, and Islamic sanctities”, based on a verse from the Holy Qur’an and a hadith of the Prophet, “We created you from a single pair of a male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other". ”Likewise, the Messenger of God (PBUH) said in his hadith“ There is no difference between an Arab, Persian, no white, or black except with piety. ”

On the importance of joining together and close ranks, Al-Shami said, “The enemy has always followed" divide and rule". We will never separate because we are free-minded, owners of belief, and coexistence without difference. "

Sheikh and member of the Religions Forum Omar Al-Shami ended his speech by stressing that they aspire "to a democratic Syria whose components are stacked with the love that was sown among them," and God called "to liberate the country from immorality through solidarity and belief in coexistence."
