Tirbespiyê Assyrians recalls victims of "Seyfo" genocides

The Assyrians of Tirbespiyê district, recalled the victims of the "Seyfo" genocides by the Ottoman occupation against them in 1915 AD, and demanded that the international community recognize it as a crime of genocide against the peoples, and hold the Turkish occupation accountable.

Under the slogan "Denying Seyfo is a participation in this crime," the Syriac Cultural Council in the area of Tirbespiyê recalls "Seyfo" genocides by the Ottoman occupation.

The lecture was run by both Malik Musa Asmar and Professor Sanhrib Hanu, who indicated during the lecture that the Ottoman occupation committed many massacres against the peoples of the region, including Kurds, Arabs, Syrians, Armenians and other indigenous peoples in the region.
