'We not to remain silent about occupation's attacks, crimes against our people'

The Member of the Yazidi House in al-Jazeera region, Mahmoud Resho, said that the Turkish occupation's attacks on the regions of southern Kurdistan and the regions of Rojava target the democratic project and equality among all components of society, stressing that they will not be silent about the crimes of the Turkish occupation against their people.

On Sunday midnight, Şengal regions, Mexmûr refugee camp and the legitimate defense zones in Başûr (South Kurdistan) came under heavy bombardment by Turkish occupation warplanes, as a continuation of a series of violations and crimes against the Kurdish people.

Regarding the bombardment carried out by the Turkish occupation's warplanes on Mexmûr (Restum Judy) camp, Şengal areas and the legitimate defense zones in Başûr Kurdistan, Mahmoud Resho, the Member of the Yazidi House in al-Jazeera region said that the people of Şengal hoped to return to their areas and homes after the elimination of ISIS mercenaries, "but the Turkish occupation launched its attacks again on Başûr Kurdistan regions, targeted the civilians directly, and committed the most heinous crimes and massacres against them."

Kurdistan Regional Government is silent about the Turkish occupation's attacks

Resho said that Şengal and Mexmûr are located within the geography of Başûr Kurdistan, "and despite the attacks, the Kurdistan Regional Government, the central government in Iraq, the major countries and human rights organizations remain silent and did not condemn the attacks and bombing launched by the Turkish occupation on Başûr Kurdistan regions.

The Yazidi component will not remain silent on the Turkish occupation's crimes

Resho emphasized that the Yazidi component in Başûr and Rojava Kurdistan will continue their activities against the Turkish occupation attacks on their areas and will respond to all attacks, "and we will not stand idly by towards the crimes of the Turkish occupation against our people."

It is worth mentioning that about 12,000 people live in Mexmûr camp, as they inhabited there after the Turkish fierce attacks on Başûr Kurdistan cities and villages in the nineties.
