Yousef: Turkish attacks target to Kurdish people in particular Yezidis Kurds

Şengal province and Mexmûr camp in Başûr camp, south Kurdistan, are being shelled to heavy bombardment by Turkish occupation jets.

On the Turkish attack, a member of the Joint Presidency of the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Yousef, told Hawar news agency ANHA that the attack was "targeting the existence of the Kurdish people and the continuation of the extermination carried out by ISIS against our Yezidi people and our people in Mexmûr camp.

Fawza Yousef noted that the attack is also a violation of Iraqi sovereignty and a violation of international conventions.

Fawza Yousef f called the people, saying, "Our people must rise up everywhere in the face of this brutal attack and the war of extermination by the Turks against the Kurdish people."

Fawza Yousef stressed that the attacks will not undermine the will of the Kurdish people, adding, "Let the Turkish state know that these attacks will not break the will of our people and that the Kurdish issue has become the focus of the region and the world. We will protect our existence and identity whatever we cost."

During her talk, Fawza Yousef appealed to the international community and the Iraqi state to reduce these violations and stop the massacres against the Kurdish people.
