Turkish occupation fears organized women and targets them

Zalukh Rasheed called on all women of the world to protest in front of the United Nations departments to demand the rights of women who are subjected to violence in Afrin, and to end the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

Human Rights Organization in Afrin-Syria has documented statistics for the women who have been subjected to violence since the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries of Afrin to the present day. More than 400 women's fate are unknown, 61 women were killed among them, while rape cases were 64 cases, and 3 cases suicide.

On the violations against Afrin women in the occupied Afrin by the mercenary factions loyal to the Turkish occupation, head of the Women's Authority in Afrin district, Zalukh Rasheed, spoke to HAWAR, and said: "Afrin women enjoyed their freedom and were able to develop themselves, but after the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries, women did not spare their ever-increasing crimes.

Rasheed continued by saying: "These crimes that appeared consecutively show the reality of the Turkish occupation in the footsteps of its Ottoman ancestors. Ottomans were targeting women in order to intimidate and terrorize the people."

They target Kurdish women because they are the most organized in society

Rasheed touched on targeting the Turkish occupation of Kurdish women in particular, and added: "Kurdish women are targeted in particular because Kurdish women are well-organized within the Turkish society and occupation. They try to intimidate society."

At the end of her speech, she demanded human rights and international organizations not to condone these violations, and called on all women of the world to go out into the arenas and protest in front of the United Nations and demand the rights of oppressed Afrin women.
