YPG reveals record of 9 fighters martyred during 2015

The Media Center of the People's Protection Units today issued a written statement, through which it revealed the record of 9 fighters who were martyred in different locations and dates from 2015, during the battles of the People's Protection Units and women against ISIS mercenaries.

The text of the statement read:

"The wars and battles of the resistance we are fighting in Rojava and northeastern Syria have produced many heroes who have written the greatest epics in the history of our revolution and have given them the highest meaning. Among those resistances are the great resistance of our fighters during 2015 against ISIS mercenaries. That resistance that repelled the most mercenary attacks that The revolution of Rojava and northern Syria, as well as the democratic system guaranteeing the future and security of the peoples of the region, were targeted. Our heroes, who did not hesitate for a moment from the resistance, responded to these attacks with an unprecedented guerrilla spirit, and registered their names in the record of the immortals. Today, we announce the record of nine of these heroes who were martyred during the year 2015 in separate places on the battlefields.
