Intellectual should find mechanisms that achieves Kurdish unity

The co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals in Afrin canton, Avesta Ibrahim, called on the Kurdish forces to consider the political scene carefully and take advantage of the changes in the world for the benefit of the Kurdish people.

Ibrahim emphasized that the Kurdish unit defies the conspiracies against the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan.

And she considered that "unity is the safety valve and an opportunity to fight the enemy who is trying to exploit our separation."

she outlined the requirements of the unification efforts, saying, "The success of the Kurdish political process in Syria and consequently solving the crisis in the new Syria requires in agreements. The world and the Middle East in general, the Syrians, and the Kurds in particular, pass through it. Our Kurdish unity in general, the Kurdistan region, defies and cuts off the conspiracies that are being hatched against our existence.

She called for overcoming differences, "We must overcome differences in practice and work to read the reality and the political situation accurately. This requires us to intensify efforts to overcome the difficulties through the mechanisms of permanent dialogue, thereby providing opportunities for closer rapprochement between the Kurds."

On the role of the intellectuals, she commented, "discussing and presenting opinions are the tasks of the Kurdish intellectual, who bear great responsibility and role in a more effective and with the capabilities that he has to find mechanisms that contribute to the success of the steps of the Kurdish unit that would enhance the victory and defeat the occupation."
