Hamdan al-Abd: AA takes into account to hole Turkey accountable

In a meeting with ANHA agency, Al-Abed started his speech by referring to support for mercenary groups "since the beginning of the Turkish occupation of Afrin and Turkey invokes protection of its national security and gives mercenaries the status of a Syrian army, came to save them and change the system, and it became clear from the beginning that it was Turkish support for mercenaries and terrorists in public to achieve their interests."

And added" Turkish occupation's atrocities in occupied areas is still continuing such as making a demographic change through killing, displacement, demographic change, destroying the infrastructure, removing monuments and churches, changing the names of schools and streets, and raising the Turkish flag in the occupied territories."

He continued, "In addition, the region impoverished and starved its inhabitants by burning agricultural crops and cutting water from Syrian lands, to strike the democratic project applied in the region."

He added, "Turkey is an occupying country that has transcended all values, principles, ethical, human and religious through its criminal acts, especially what happened with the recent Afrin women such as kidnapping and killing of the young woman Malak by the mercenaries and throwing her corpse."

He continued, "What happened was in full view of the whole world, and the Autonomous Administration presents complaints and messages addressed to the United Nations, the international community, human rights organizations and most of the world’s governments, and it provides evidence of Turkey's criminality and its sponsorship of terrorism to curb Turkey's efforts to stop its practices against the people of the region."

He pointed out that "Russia and the United States are present in the region and closely monitor the killings and criminality carried out by the Turkish state towards the Syrian people, and it has not acted so far."

He stressed that "the Autonomous Administration will not be silent about the violations that the people of Syria are subjected to, and efforts will be made at all levels to hold Turkey accountable for its crimes."

Al-Abd said that "the responses are positive and confirmed to the truth of the reports submitted by the administration, but that there is no action on the ground as a result of the relations of the major countries with Turkey."

The Deputy Joint Presidency of the Executive Council concluded his speech by saying that AA continues in this manner, until Turkey is held accountable for its crimes in accordance with the standards and regulations of international law, lifting the injustice and removing the occupation from the Syrian territories, and called on the whole world to take action to stop the killing of the Syrian people by Turkey and its terrorists.
