Kobane…Afrin displaced condemn Turkish occupation and its mercenaries' crimes

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries commit crimes amounting to war crimes against unarmed civilians, such as kidnapping and arbitrary arrests, looting, murder and rape.

Rights reports documenting the crimes of the occupation and the pro-mercenaries, starting with its occupation and ending with videos that were leaked about the detainees in the prisons of mercenaries, what are called the deafness, kidnapping and girls murder.

The crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries were met with angry reactions in the northeast of Syria. In this context, Afrin displaced in Kobane canton denounced today through a statement these crimes. .

The text of the statement was read by the young Afrini girl Jahidah Dashti, who said:

On 2018, the Turkish state attacked Afrin, and the YPG and the people showed great resistance 58 days. Turkey occupied Afrin under the sight of international countries, and started the demographic change. They killed, kidnapped and burned nature, destroyed the shrines of the martyrs. This policy continues to this day, especially against civilians and women. "

In the text of the statement, she noted that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation kidnapped and killed women. Mercenaries who are linked to the Turkish state kidnapped the 16-years-old Kurdish young and killed her in an immoral way amid  international shameful silence.

She added, “According to the Human Rights Committee in northern Syria, it was pointed out that there are many kidnappers, their fate remains unknown. In this context, we, as the people of Afrin who were displaced from the oppression and occupation of the Turkish state to Kobani, condemn and denounce the policy and crimes of the occupying state. The Turkish and its mercenaries, and we also call on all human rights organizations to intervene quickly to save the kidnappings, and to protect the people from the brutality of the occupation and its mercenaries.

We also call on the Kurdish parties and forces to unite the ranks, efforts and intervention to end the suffering of our people, and to end the Turkish occupation of our regions. "
