The city of Tel Aviv witnessed a demonstration in which hundreds of Israelis participated, in Rabin Square in central Tel Aviv, on Saturday evening, after the Peace Now and Women Make Peace movement called it, “Break the Silence” and other Israeli leftist forces, and groups such as "Leaders for Israel's Security" refused to annex Palestinian lands from the West Bank to Israeli sovereignty.

The participants chanted slogans, including: "No to annexation and occupation, yes to peace and democracy." Among the participants, US Senator Bernie Sanders, who delivered a recorded speech broadcast in front of the demonstrators, stated: "he opposes the annexation plan for any part of the West Bank, and that this scheme is illegal, and it must stop."

He added: "I want you to know that you are not alone ... There are millions of people around the world who support these fundamental human values ... These are all related to us that we stand against dictators and build a common future for peace."

The Democratic Front for Peace and Equality, the Meretz Party, and Israeli left parties have called for participation in the demonstration to "launch a thunderous cry against the annexation and occupation scheme". At the same time, the parties that called for the demonstration see that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. They perpetuate a painful reality based on hatred and separation, and now they want to take off and annex areas of the West Bank, displace its people, and eliminate any hope for a solution. "

The Israeli government intends to impose Israeli sovereignty on areas of the West Bank, covering an area of 30% of the total area of the West Bank, launching next July.
