A source from the village of Tokhaz al-Khbira, northeast of the city of Manbij, which is occupied by the Turkish army and its mercenaries, stated that a number of mercenaries insulted a girl from the village.

The source said that the people protested against the practices of mercenary elements, and set fire to a mercenary stronghold in the village, and that the mercenary elements shot them, resulted in wounding a woman and a child, according to the source.

The source also said that the situation is getting worse in the region, especially after the live bullets were fired at the protesters.

He explained that a fire broke out in the crops near the scene of the accident, due to the shooting by the Turkish occupation mercenaries.
