Initial response team extinguishes a fire in northern rural Raqqa

Today, the initial response team, in cooperation with Raqqa Fire Suppression Regiment, managed to put out a fire that broke out on one of the agricultural lands in Marj Al-Zuhur village, 20 km north of the city of Raqqa.

The fire broke out as a result of the spark blowing from one of the agricultural tractors that collected straw piles from one of the agricultural lands.

According to the people, the fire broke out on the land harvested and there were no losses in the crops that have not yet been harvested.

The Economy Committee in Raqqa had previously taken a package of precautionary measures to prevent fires that may arise in crops similar to the previous year, and distributed, in cooperation with the Fire Suppression Regiment, firemen in the countryside are fully prepared around the clock to tackle any fire.
