Bali calls on stepping up struggle to lift isolation on Ocalan

The co-chair of the Council of Martyrs Families in the Euphrates region, Arif Bali called on accelerating the pace of the struggle to lift the severe isolation imposed on leader Ocalan.

" Ocalan has demonstrated through his guidance his ability to solve the crises that are ravaging the Middle East, but isolation prevent his thesis and ideas in the context of resolving the Middle East crisis," Arif Bali said in an interview with our agency.

Ending the isolation on leader Ocalan will contribute to ending conflicts in the region, which the authoritarian powers that feed on, he said.

"But the authoritarian governments, especially Turkey provokes conflicts and wars in the region, as long as all of this serves the interests of their authority, so isolation is stricter on Ocalan, who can solve the outstanding issues," Bali said.

Bali called on the people of the region to do more to lift the isolation and free Ocalan.

He called on Kurdish political parties to achieve Kurdish national unity, unify Kurdish discourse and preserve the gains of martyrs.
