Idlib Rebels' commander: Our areas are for all Syrians, Idlib must rise

The commander-in-chief of the Idlib Rebels Brigade indicated that the mercenaries turn into a Turkish fire with which Syria and other Arab countries burn, and promised that the northern and eastern regions of Syria are for all Syrians, stressing the necessity of the uprising against the Turkish policies in Idlib.

While the escalation is still the master of the scene in the Syrian Idlib governorate, the picture is still blurry about the future that the region will reach, especially in light of the continuation of holding agreements, breaching them and the introduction of military masses to the region, whether by the Syrian government or the Turkish occupation army.

Although Turkey and Russia reached an agreement on the fifth of last March, stipulating the cessation of hostilities in Idlib and the withdrawal of the mercenary factions from the vicinity of the M4 road, shelling and clashes continue to erupt in the region, amid the talk about the possibility of a return of the fighting at a more violent pace to it.

On this issue, the commander-in-chief of the Idlib Rebels Brigade, Iskendar Alaa, told our agency, "The vision is clear for all Syrians, who handed over the capital Damascus, Aleppo, Daraa and Homs cities to the Syrian regime after the latter was unable to control it does not care about handing Ma'ret al-Numan, Saraqeb and Khan Sheikhoun as well, which are frequent scenarios, in an indication to Turkey."

About some skirmishes between Turkey and the government forces, he added, "The game is going on and the only loser is the Syrian people, so the clashes between the Syrian regime and the Turkish occupation are a farce unfortunately, and some are deceived by those plays. The Turkish occupation is trying to play with the passion of the Syrians, and show its army that it is fighting for Idlib and its people, and this is not true."

He pointed out that "the people of Idlib are seeking to show the extent of their discontent and clear position on the Turkish-Russian plans that seek to thwart what remained of the Syrian revolution, regardless of the terrorist groups present there," in reference to the growing popular rejection of the Turkish policies and the practices of Turkey's mercenaries in Idlib.

Iskendar Alaa touched upon the mercenary groups that depend on Turkey, and said, "They are indeed mercenaries. How can they travel thousands of kilometers and go to Libya or Yemen, while their people desperately need them to rid them of the Turkish occupation and the practices of the Syrian regime? They are slaves to the dollar."

He added, "The Turkish state directs these mercenaries to where it wants to apply its Ottoman colonial plans, so it is shameful to consider these Syrians who are not aware that they have been turned into Turkish firewood burning Syria and other Arab countries."

The commander-in-chief of Idlib Rebels Brigade spoke of the entry of dozens of families from Idlib to the regions of the Autonomous-Administration of North and East Syria. He said, "North and east Syria are for all Syrians wherever they are. Displaced Syrian families from the war in Idlib have reached here, and the Syrian Democratic Forces are helping them despite the lack of capabilities. We in the brigade of Idlib Rebels consider ourselves that we are the defenders of the oppressed Syrian people. Many young people coming from Homs, Hama, Daraa, Damascus and Idlib joined the Syrian Democratic Forces, including the Idlib Rebels Brigade because they realized the truth."

He pointed out that "some of the factions deployed in the occupied areas in northern Syria are promoting the displaced people that the Syrian Democratic Forces hand over the young men to the Syrian regime, or they are killed," confirming the falsity of these rumors. He made clear, "Many families reached here, and our people all over Syria know their situation and how we receive them by communicating with them. They are our people and we are fighting for them."

At the end of his speech, the commander-in-chief of the Idlib Rebels Brigade which is deployed in the northern and eastern regions of Syria administered by the Autonomous-Administration stressed the necessity of the uprising against the Turkish occupation's policies, and all policies and plans that serve the foreign countries at the expense of the displacement and killing of the Syrian people. He confirmed that they will not accept this against their people. He said, "I tell them, be with us, to be with you."
